a little something different
I'm by no means a graphic designer, but I love minimalistic stuff, and after seeing Pacific Rim a while back I thought it'd be fun to try. So here are three of the main 5 Jaegers we see!
(Gipsy Danger, Cherno Alpha, Striker Eureka)
I'm currently working on Crimson Typhoon and Coyote Tango!

Pet Portraits 2009-2012
A very good friend suggested I make a collage of all the pet portraits I've done thus far. :D It was quite an effort, but here it is! I hope to do many more pet portraits in the future! (As well as people portraits!)

A Middle Earth situation.
Hello folks! Sorry it's been awhile since my last update.
I got a job at Harkins Theatres a bit before Christmas, and since then I've been working steadily. It's rather fun! I am of course still eager to get a job in my field, after all, but one of the perks of working in a movie theater is that I get to see movies for free. If you know me, you know I LOVE movies, so that's pretty important! Lol.
I've seen The Hobbit a total of 3 times now, in all formats but IMAX, and I really really love it. It's so different from The Lord of the Rings--much more of a road-trip adventure story, much less bleak also. I really love all of the dwarves, too! I will eventually draw all 13 of them, as one of my favorite things is how the people at WETA took great care to make all of their designs and personalities distinct from one another. Of course, I am partial to Bofur because he's a sweetie. And Thorin and his nephews, because I have many feelings about the remaining line of Durin. :(
It's an interesting thing about this series, both books and movies...I feel very inspired to get back into traditional art. There's a very organic feel to The Hobbit. I don't know if that even makes sense to me, but here's some quick pieces I've done recently. More to come!
